Yes (kind of), participants who complete all online modules and assignments by December 30, 2020 will receive a Level 1 Implementation FOR IMPACT Badge, Leading Implementation Teams.
Participants will receive a Professional Learning Hours Completion Certificate to submit to their organization for professional development hours.
Participants will continue to have access to all online content until December 30, 2020 and are welcome to download all workbooks and materials.
Moving from Knowing to Doing will be available annually in February. Therefore, the next time it will be offered again is February 2021.
Yes, the entire course is online and asynchronous, so it can be completed at your convenience and pace. Starting on September 8, 2020 we will release a new module per week, but you are welcome to choose the order in which you approach any part of the course. There are no live webinars, but there are many opportunities to ask questions to course developers and other students using our discussion boards. We will also offer further support by holding 2 live group sessions in which our course facilitators will cover frequently asked questions (dates are TBD). Our course facilitators will be available to answer questions until December 30, 2020.
In terms of time commitment, we anticipate it is about 3 hours a module. Each module includes approximately 1 hour of videos (split into multiple shorter videos), 1 hour of online activities, and 1 hour for the assignment. The assignments are about directly relating the content back to your own work; therefore, how much time can be quite variable depending on how much background work you choose to do.
Yes, we aim to make Moving from Knowing to Doing available to everyone. For full-time students, we offer a $100 USD discount on the Level 1 and Level 2 Enrollment prices. Please email [email protected] to obtain this discount. For individuals in low- and middle-income countries and rural communities, we offer a special reduced rate on all of our pricing options. For all enrollment types, our course facilitators will respond regularly to your questions on our online discussion boards until December 30, 2020. This is where you can receive direct support. We will also be offering 2 live group sessions with our course facilitators to go over frequently asked questions. These sessions will be scheduled based on maximizing participant attendance. If you select Level 2 - Premium Enrollment, you will receive tailored feedback on your assignments and 3 hours of coaching in addition to the above. The deadline to submit assignments is December 30, 2020 in order to receive a badge (all enrollment types) and to receive feedback (Level 2 Program Enrollment).
